The Line That Makes the Depth Survivable
A diver descends on a line, not to stop the descent but to make it survivable when the water gets too dark to tell up from down. Deep trauma processing works on a similar principle. DBR anchors the process in a locatable physical sensation, tension around the eyes, the base of the skull, the shoulders, so that no matter how disorienting the material becomes, there's something to follow back to the surface.
